Lily was a little curious where the cut-off had been going, but she'd been around long enough to work out how things went around here. Peggy was a woman and therefore not at all equal to a man and not to be respected as one. So she had an idea of where the vent had been heading, and she offered a sympathetic smile.
"Of course," she agreed. "You wouldn't happen to know where there were any hard candies, would you? Lifesavers? I'd settle for a lolly at this point." She wasn't particularly inclined to be fussed about a stick poking out of her mouth when she'd given serious consideration to the comb thing. Besides that, everyone had some sort of stick or another hanging off their lip.
"Lily Evans," she replied as she shook the other woman's hand. "I was walked by your office on my first day," she replied with a slight smile. "But no, no introductions. I ... barely know half their names," she admitted with a nod back toward the other secretaries. The men she only knew because their offices had names and she liked to see which one belonged where in case she needed to engage in active avoidance at some point.
