Sirius Black ([info]the_grim) wrote in [info]silverage,
It wasn't really funny, but watching Remus try to sort through a story that didn't even make complete sense to Sirius brought a grin to his lips that he tried to hold back.

"Neville," he corrected offhandedly, attempting to sort through the details he'd received and make them a bit more coherent for Remus. "Neville and Harry were mates. Harry killed Voldemort later, I guess. Sounded like he disappeared for a time and then came back."

Maybe in a week or so, if they hadn't found a way back by then, he'd want more details about the story. He had a feeling denial was going to be a close friend of his while he adjusted to being here, though.

Stepping forward to take the pebble, he rolled it between his fingers, regarding the mostly repaired damage. He slung an arm around Remus' shoulder and shook his head, "Honestly, mate, how've you survived here a month without me?" He asked with a teasing lilt to his voice.

Releasing his friend, he withdrew his wand and murmured the spell to stick the tiny piece of wall back where it belonged.
