Sirius climbed up to his feet as Remus repaired the wall, running a hand through his hair. He closed his eyes for just a moment before turning to watch the debris fly back to where it belonged.
Unconsciously, he held his breath as Remus began to ask a question, bracing himself. When it turned out to be a question he actually knew the answer to and wasn't as bad as he'd been expecting, he let out his breath on a humorless chuckle and nodded.
"Hagrid came and got him. Dumbledore made arrangements for Harry to stay with Lily's sister." He shrugged one shoulder. "I would have taken care of him though," he added quietly. He'd never seen himself having a child of his own, but he would have done everything for Harry. But he knew it was worthless arguing with Hagrid about it, and it gave him a chance to go after Peter.
