Sirius Black ([info]the_grim) wrote in [info]silverage,
OOC: No worries!

Sirius glanced down the hallway at the squeak and for a moment he tried to remain dignified and stoic. That lasted all of five seconds, of course, before he broke out into a grin and turned to return the embrace.

After a long moment, he patted his mate on the back a couple of times. He drew back enough to inspect Remus, keeping his hands on the other man's upper arms. From what Lily had said, Sirius wasn't surprised that Remus looked exactly as he expected him to, but it was nice to confirm it just the same.

"It's good to see you, Moony; even if you've been here for a month without me," he teased good-naturedly. He was half wishing they had invited Remus over yesterday when he'd broken the news to Lily, but he certainly hadn't been thinking clearly and perhaps Lils wouldn't have wanted extra company. It was mostly a selfish wish anyway; he just wanted to goof around with an old friend and pretend things were normal.

"Should we head inside?" He asked with a nod back towards the door to Lily's room, "Or find somewhere with drinks?" He hesitated slightly before he shrugged and admitted, "Evans wasn't lying about the bad news."
