OOC: Sorry for the late response, there was Pottermore!

The crumpled note was still in Remus' fist by the time he had pulled the door close and jammed his hand into his frayed wizard's cloak's sleeve. There really wasn't much time to think about what to wear, not when he practically Apparated (except not really, he ran but it felt like he'd Apparated) from Millie's station to his room to get changed after a hot day out.

It took one second for him to dash out of his hallway and after a minor confusion of which path to take, left or right, the number to Lily's room finally resounded in his mind and he took the one to the right which was a shortcut. There was no time to waste; Sirius had arrived and he could barely contain his excitement. Sirius had arrived! Sirius, Padfoot, his good friend! He recognized himself to be Padfoot, too, which meant that he must be at least 15-years old, all time-twists considered. A 15-year old Sirius meant someone to finally help him during his full moon nights!

It was a happy thought -- a happy, elating one. In spite of all the joy that was running though him, though, he couldn't really take himself off the edge. Lily had said something...there was bad news. He considered that she might just be pulling a fast one on him, under the instructions and helpful coaxes of Sirius himself. But bad news was bad news, and he had never known Lily to be the kind to joke about bad news, and this placed a rock in the middle of his throat. As the last corner appeared in his mind, he wished that Lily was just so happy, she'd actually let Sirius get away with this one joke. That could be food for thought.

But what if this Sirius came from an unseen future...?

He could find out now. A twist (and squeaking shoes when Remus nearly lost his balance) to Lily's hallway had presented to him the impatient man in his fullest glory and his name erupted from Remus' throat before he knew it, "Sirius!" Eventually, he really was happy to see his friend.

When Remus came close enough to touch him, he wasted no time to embrace his missed friend.
