Selina raised her eyebrows. Personal projects? What, was she writing socialist manifestos or something? What project could she be doing that would ever involve typing? And to own her own typewriter...Selina found herself almost jealous.
"This shouldn't be too difficult for you, then," Selina said, pulling the sheet off of the typewriter. "It's just addressing envelopes, filling out forms, the usual. Though there's talk we're getting Selectric typewriters in soon. Heaven knows what new technology those will be,"
Selina lit a cigarette, offering one to Lily.
"I'm not sure what they call it in England, but here it's a 'pool'. You take whatever winds up in your inbox, though most of your projects will likely be coming from accounts, seeing as you're so close to Mr. Campbell's office. Wait, you don't know him from Adam, do you? Or anyone, really," Selina rubbed her forehead, "Up for a tour of the whole floor?"
