"Stay here," Remus said to Lily needlessly as he slipped out of the bench and made his way towards the front which was backed by a wall filled with square chalkboards littered with colorful scrawls of the day's menu. He was the next person in line when he stepped before the counter where he order for tea and two slices of cake, the kind that was made of egg, flour, sugar and sugar.

He returned to Lily soon after with a tray of his order, carrying the plates out of it as he sat down and stirring his tea as he set aside his teabag. "When do you start work?" he asked, "Or have you already begun?"
