Linda had never seen the woman before, but the brief hesitation when she spoke, not to mention the posture, gave the Night Nurse a clue.

"Of course," she said with a gentle smile. "This way, Miss Dubrovna." She lead the way into the barely used rooms where she kept her practice. "Please make yourself comfortable and tell me how can I help you?" she added as she opened a door into an empty doctor's office.
