"Indeed, it is that," Bill agreed, now thinking of Texas. The last time he had been there was 1945, in the middle of the war. He hadn't enjoyed it terribly much - though the vampires there were kinder than here, the infighting within their ranks was near constant. It seemed they had a new king or queen every decade.
