r. lupin ([info]tufty) wrote in [info]silverage,
"Yes," Remus said quickly, a mite bit enthusiastically when she'd mentioned what the boggarts did. He was a little surprised that someone would actually know what a boggart was and he wondered if they were magical as he was. He felt a bud of excitement in the center of his chest. He wasn't the only wizard in New York!

"They are a group," Remus said as he further reduced his skillet. "They're called the Death Eaters." He pierced two sausage cutlets by his fork and had been about to eat them when Gwen refused to make a word or a noise of affirmation and the silence grew thicker...

"Oh," he coughed a little, "They are mm...they are evil wizards." He could kill himself for such a cheap start. "They...operate under a central figure, a man who cannot be named, and it is for him that they commit hideous crimes not only on fellow wizards but also, to the non-wizards alike." It was getting harder not to say "Muggles". "They kill, slaughter, torture...hypnotise...they have no respect for life and values whatsoever. They are horrible at the least. There is nothing they care to preserve but for whatever benefits them."
