"My name is Severus," Remus said for his introduction. "Severus Snape." He wondered how many people knew him as Severus Snape now. His voice was light like a sunny day with little clouds and a good breeze. And when Anwen made a protest about her mother's gestures, his smile widened and he chuckled a little. "She's quite adorable," he said to Gwen. "How old is she?"
"Sausage skillet," the cute waitress announced upon her return and as Remus watched her place the deep plate before him, he nearly bit his lip in an effort to keep his stomach quiet although that didn't work quite well. He wondered if he regretted a little that he had "made friends" so early on that he couldn't eat like a pig anymore, but even without Gwen, he knew he would be too embarrassed to actually do it.
"Enjoy your breakfast," the waitress said to him as he picked up his fork and she moved to the Harknesses and beamed and clasped her hands together. "Is everything okay, Ma'am?" She also twiddled her fingers on Little Anwen.
