"Fair enough," she agreed, though she was certain she could give him a pause if she introduced him to some of the things at Honeydukes. A soft, surprise laugh escaped her lips as he took it upon himself to decorate her pie, and she grinned across the table at him.
"Well, perhaps I should make you try it first," she challenged him lightly. "You're the one who altered my dessert, after all." Still, she was game enough, and she angled her fork to catch some of the ice cream along with the pie, lifting it to her mouth quickly before the ice cream could drip off or smoosh through the tines of the fork.
It was interesting, and she made a thoughtful expression as she tasted the mix of ice cream and pie before she licked an escaped drop of ice cream off her lower lip. "It's interesting," she conceded. "I'm not sure I've ever tried this before. Not sure it would have occurred to me to. Sure you don't want to try it now?"
