Galen smiled softly. "This ship is a sentience of sorts, herself. There is nothing new under the sun. When fully operational, she draws power from hyperspace. One of these days, we should just let them chat, my ship and yours, and see what they can come up with."

His smile grew. "Who do you serve, and who do you trust, Doctor? I find myself trusting you, if for no other reason than your most interesting character witnesses. Other than providing the occasional medical services, what can I do to help you solve this most interesting problem we've been posed?"
