"Only when there's this wild beast attacking us," Locke snorted as he let his socks hang by the foot of the bed before he stripped his vest off him. He didn't even think beforehand that he was doing this before a woman. He'd always done this in front of everyone. "Usually, that means that we-- or I'll have to go by foot. I can do that, actually. But something worries me." he slouched as he rested his arms on his thighs.
Then tugging his bandana off to set his tousled hair free, he said, "I've never heard of this place before, y'know? And you've never heard of the places I've been to either. And the money that's used here? Doh-larr or something?" he turned to look at Amy, "I don't know that. All my life, I've always paid with gil."
He sighed as he looked at his feet, "On top of that, there's absolutely no item shop, no weapons shop or relics or armor shop...it's like I know where I am but I don't know where I am." Then wincing, he scratched his head, "And for an adventurer, that's unnerving."
