The stranger-- Locke-- paced in front of Amy, looking more and more distressed. "Calm-- hey, calm down. I know it doesn't make sense to you that I've never heard of these places, but if I told you about the places here, I doubt you'd recognise them either. Places like New York, London, Scotland. Do those names mean anything to you?"
When he asked her how she arrived, Amy was unsure how to respond. "How I got here is a bit... complicated. My friend, that I mentioned, the Doctor? He has this... well, it's a big blue box, but it's so much more than that. It travels through space, and through time. It takes us anywhere we want to go, but sometimes something goes wrong and someone gets left behind." Amy's face was shrouded in sadness now, but she looked up at Locke as she continued, "We stopped here so I could run an errand, but then the box left without me. I'm sure the Doctor will come back as soon as he fixes whatever's wrong, and if he does, maybe he can take you to Jidoor as well, but until that happens, I'll help you retrace your steps."
The lights dimmed in the lobby briefly as lightning struck outside.
"Although maybe it would be best if we started in the morning, once the rain stops."
