Locke couldn't say he wasn't disappointed. That had been a close call -- and he had to admit, that brief hope of meeting someone who knew moogles made him miss his moogle friends in their Moogle Cave. "Oh, so...humans...right? Not..." he formed a hollow circle with both his hands and lifted it over his head, "Bear-cat-things with antennae and bat wings...well, of course not." The last few words may have come out halfway between being mumbled or muttered as he dropped his hands.
"Hey, I used to know how to cast magic, too. Until it disappeared. A, anyway, I should probably let you through." So slipping his hands inside his pockets, he stepped aside and gave space for Severus to step through. "I really appreciate your help back there. You were really great." And it's a shame that he should refuse to use his talents to save lives. That just makes him a big waste, Locke thought. "We should do it again sometime." He beamed at him and winked.
