Locke let out breath from his nose, his hand having already extracted the vial of Elixir and Remedy from his pack. Why else did he give him those stuff, really? Of course the Malboro had venom! And then he realized that he didn't outright say it to the boy. He just told him which was an Elixir or a Remedy and that Remedies cure people if they feel sick.

Which is exactly what the boy was feeling now. Except whatever.

"Yeah, it does," Locke said anyway as he uncorked the blue Remedy and handed it to him. "Drool's better than a big bad breath. You seem to hold out pretty good, though! No paralysis or petrification, no blindness, no muteness, just sick. Here, drink this all the way down and you'll be fresh. If you need extra strength, there's the Elixir." He straightened up as he dusted his hands on his sides. "Now uhh...excuse me, I gotta look for the items I gave you, they're pretty mm...scarce over here..." He was looking around for them.
