Sebastian Michaelis ([info]demonsbutler) wrote in [info]silverage,
[Okay, the lure of finally logging with with a Liv!Cloud was too great...]

Sebastian was too professional to ever admit to being bored, but even the most stalwart butler would find an eternity of servitude to a spoilt young lord to be trying, to say the least. For a demon, a creature for whom 'an eternity' really meant all eternity, to be tempted daily by the finest soul he could ever have cultivated... frankly, it put Sebastian's fangs on edge. Sometimes, he just had to get away from Ciel for a little while so that the boydemon couldn't see how his temper frayed at the edges.

He'd felt the Creepers' presence before he saw them. They were foreign, but seemed closer to him than humans were even after all these years, and they stopped him in his tracks. He'd just turned to look for the strange creatures when the screaming started.

He knew they were killing; souls were slipping into the air, oh so tempting, and yet... no, even the infant's soul wasn't fine enough for Sebastian's palate. And someone was killing them, too, or at least erasing the demons from this world. Sebastian could have some fun with that, at least. He'd worked too hard to damage his reputation here by slaughtering civilians, but demons? He could handle demons.

It took but a moment for him to scale a building near the sounds of chaos and another moment to take in the scene: one man - very well-armed, from the look of the giant sword he was wielding - was taking on a pack of strange creatures that looked like shadow and bones.

"Ah," Sebastian murmured softly to himself, noting the odds. He reached into his tuxedo jacket and pulled out a handful of dinner knives. Being a super-prepared butler always had been useful in a variety of situations.

He leapt off of the roof, flinging the knives ahead of him into the back of the neck of one of the creatures. He was prepared for it to turn on him (in fact, he almost wanted it to - it'd been a long time since he'd faced anything approaching a challenge), but it only managed to scream before it vanished in a cloud of smoke.

It would be unprofessional of him to show his displeasure at this, so as Sebastian stood up in the spot where the creature had been, he didn't let a twitch of annoyance cross his face at all. Certainly not.

Well, maybe just a little.
