Because if the Doctor dropped off companions routinely in some variant of New York City, she was going to be so mad, the Doctor wasn't going to know what hit him. "Though you can't be Rose, since he's always sad about her, unless -" Look, she wasn't going to try to figure out SPACE AND TIME travel right now, her head hurt enough already.

She shook her head again. "I'm from 2007. It's ... what did mum say? Election day. It's Election Day, I guess. Why? When are you from?"
