Who: Don Draper and Tony Stark What: I hear by call together this meeting of drunken business men When: Thusday afternoon Where: The Harvard Club Warnings: None!
Tony had more money than most, more possessions than most, and a more interesting life than most, but even with everything he had there were still gaping holes. He had money and no one to share it with aside from charities and the occasional Bunny. He had looks and personality, but they'd yet to find him a wife. He could have provided for a family of any size, but he had no children. He never would have complained about is life --Tony thought he had a pretty good one, experiences in the Vietnam jungle aside-- but there were other successful men out there who had what he had, and more.
Luckily, he was friends with one of them, and could therefore live vicariously through him without having to worry about picking some tiny human being up from school or managing to stay monogamous.
His weekly lunch dates with Don Draper were something Tony genuinely enjoyed. Becoming easy friends after the former Sterling-Cooper completely a series of ad work for Stark Industries, Tony had insisted on the Thursday lunches as an easy way to stay in touch. They would eat, drink, (and drink) and trade conversation. Tony had tales to spare about Vietnam, the weapons industry, and his Playboy lifestyle. Don was always slightly more gaurded, but if Tony could ease something about about Betty (or whichever woman it was this week) or the kids, then he considered lunch a success.
They met at the Yale and Harvard Clubs, depending on which one suited them that week. Neither were graduates of either school, but Tony was rich enough that it didn't matter and Don looked the part. On this particular Thursday, Tony walked into the Harvard Club just slightly later than he'd been expected and made his way up to the second floor bar and dining area. He hardly looked out of place as other men in business suits roamed the halls going about their own business. Once he'd made his way to the second floor landing he glanced around, eyes scanning the pristine wooden bar and plush booths before he spotted Don's familiar face.
