“Yeah,” Dan said with a soft sigh that was solely meant for the pain in the ass it was to actually get up and move around. It was too bad teleportation wasn’t a thing. Or at least he didn’t think it was -- he’d also thought vampires weren’t a thing, but his wife apparently now needed blood to live. Jesus. Dan didn’t have the energy at the moment to truly process all of that. He would have to really think about it in the morning. Pressing one more kiss to Tatum’s lips, Dan reluctantly pushed himself up and off of her, instantly missing the warmth of her body as he stood up. He offered her a hand up so they could head for his -- their -- bedroom to get cleaned up and settle into bed. It was surreal, after three long years, but Dan couldn’t say he wasn’t looking forward to snuggling in close to her and drifting off to sleep.
