So there Himawari sat in her semi-festive holiday-styled kimono, as was her usual garb as of late. She liked her kimono, she liked her collection and sharing them with her friend Keita. She liked standing out in the crowd because, really, who wore a kimono in America? It was so old fashioned even in Japan that when you wore one in the United States someone thought she was in 'cosplay' or doing a photoshoot. However, Himawari was simply out and about with her sister. She sat in a cozy looking chair at the coffee shop, leaning over on her left elbow with the back of her hand used as a cradle for her cheek. She wore dark copper colored jewelry, some with red gems--obvious costume jewelry, cheap but cute stuff from Claire's or The Icing or Charming Charlie's. Her hair, a bloody red color re-dyed over it's previously washing out red, was tied up in a messy turned around clip leaving the straight ends to stand up high. A red purple flower that matched her kimono's trim stuck into the style. Appropriate though dark makeup splashed her face, maroon lipstick and cat-eye liner.
The kimono hung open slightly in the front, not worn as tightly or traditionally as it should have been yet not as loosely worn as her costume for her show as snake charmer. Himawari sighed and shift her hand to rest her jawline on the heel of her palm, watching her sister stand in line to order their drinks and breakfast treats. She asked for an white chocolate mocha latte and a slice of pound cake, to which her sister had laughed and said something about how she was going to order a hot chocolate, too. Then the twin pranced off to place their order in her pink glory leaving Himawari wondering if it was safe to slip away with her back turned or if her good karma stored would fly straight out the window on that. Deciding to stay, her dark eyes looked around the shop and out the window to admire the scenery and anyone passing by. Why she was doing this, she didn't know. She could have said 'no' and yet somehow she couldn't...maybe because she didn't really want to.
