Due to work stress etc., I'm downsizing the number of characters I have.

Malcolm is going to off into the sunset, tending to things in Black Park. Farewell, Malcolm.

Samuel is fading into the background, going out of the country with his wealthy benefactor. Goodbye, Samuel.

Merrick is remaining. The djinn is now free of the Institute and their restriction of one 24 hour period a week at the very least and the 1 mile radius of the Institute tether.

So, Merrick has loads of opportunities to explore the city and meet new people.

Hello Shadowlanders! I was thinking of sending an email round but I realized I was probably better off posting in here. Lou and Katherine are going to be taking an airship ride with Biddie sometime soon. I know I've talked to a couple of you in passing about being small investors who would be in on the MPC investment (and thus interested in the airship ride). This is the moment to speak up so Lee and I can arrange a group log.

This will be after the MPC works explosion so it will be more exciting!

Hey guys! Jewels here. This is Evelyn. Evelyn's a vampire and the sire of Matthew. Evelyn had a sire who basically bit her and buggered off, for whatever reason. Possibly due to mental illness, but I'm leaving it kind of vague. She was taken in by another vampire and basically trained and raised by him. He was a doctor. And because I apparently am a sucker for unrequited love (this is a previous character from another game so I kept her backstory - blame that), she fell in love with him but he didn't return her affections.

She's been on her own, preferring human companions, because humans are expendable and sure will break your heart, but you don't have to put up with them for hundreds of years. That was until she met Matthew. She offered him the bite, since he was sick. She's trying to take care of him, and now she's trying to become a doctor herself.

Hello friends! It is I, Red, bringing to you baby vamp Matthew Averett. He was given to an orphanage by his mother when he was just a baby in Belgium. He was adopted by a great family and has siblings who were adopted as well.

Evelyn (brought in by Jules) has been a part of his life since he was 16 when their parents hired her as a governess for his younger siblings. They became close to a certain degree, but it was only until his adult years that things turned into more than friendship. When he became sick with something (cancer) that couldn't be cured, the two of them together decided to turn him into a vampire like her, faked his death and moved from Belgium to London.

He's just been turned recently, a few weeks old as a vampire, and is still trying to learn to walk, so to say. He was a banker in Belgium and I hope to get him a job in London when he can function without wanting to tear throats out.

Speaking of tearing out throats, I am going to have him picked up as a suspect as the Ripper, because baby vamp gets hungry lol.

So, for lines, he'll need all the things. Friends, enemies, lovers, job, he has a brother and sister who think he's dead, and it's possible that his mom (a prostitute I believe) could still be around and possibly not be human.

I've been having loads of work stress that drains most of my brain. And I have been neglecting my charas - Merrick, Malcolm, and Samuel.

I hope to get back into things perhaps in a couple weeks. :\

Just to let people know, Squeaky lives in south Florida and so do the Insane Journal servers. He and his family are evacuating due to the approach of Hurricane Irma, and will not be able to maintain or fix the servers during that time if they go down during his absence. So if IJ goes down over the weekend or early next week, that's why.

He said he does have backups of everything so if they have to rebuild from scratch after the hurricane Insane Journal will come back pretty much up to date. We still have email and gdocs, so just go ahead and keep writing if it does and we'll get everything posted after restoration.

If you're at all religious a few prayers for the people in Irma's path wouldn't be a bad thing.

It seems that my babysitting vacation resulted in an eruption of work (complete with screaming, hurting, and molten villagers). As a result I'll be MIA for the rest of the week.

Hey guys. I think I owe a response or two and I promise I'll get to then. This week is back to school for us and it's been nuts in the office. I'm just exhausted both mentally and physically and I've got a headache that has clung to me since Monday (maybe lack of caffeine or florescent lights or both). I'm hoping to get come t's out tomorrow and next week should be better as routine finally gets in place. First week of school = he'll week.

Hello Shadowlanders! This is Ginger with her second, Lou Parkinson of the Parkinsons of Parkinson & Co., who are the bankers to the supernatural.

Lou is the baby of the family; he's in his late 20s and kind of a good-for-nothing except for his manners and his well-bred background (his father is a Baron though he's the Honourable, in writing). But he did manage to convince a certain Sidhe MP not to move his money after his older brother managed to put a foot in by saying the wrong thing.

Now Lou is becoming the bank's face among the supernatural community. So if you want to stow away some money, or invest it, or get a loan for your supernatural business concern, Lou is your man!
