A/N: Unbetaed. Written for the prompt "whore" from the set of "sex prompts" (that's what they're called, I swear) I found on an LJ comm. Also, this is dedicated to Roo, because she thought I was turning all fluff and light, and I didn't want her to worry. So, yeah, it's angst. Enjoy. XD

"I don't want your money, Lucius!"

Severus yanked his trousers on, jabbing his shirt under the waistband before fastening them. Pulling on his socks and shoes, he hoped Lucius would just leave it alone.

"Severus, you need the money! Why won't you let me help you?"

"Because I'm not your whore!"

The sudden shocked silence was louder than their yelling had been. Severus looked at Lucius, his anger completely drained. "I don't want your money, Lucius. I want you."

"Severus, I..." Lucius trailed off.

"I know," Severus sighed. "Don't call me again. Please."

Without waiting for a response, Severus left.

	And call me naive, but I think that at one point Lucius will see to reason and treat Sev right. Well, you know, there is a theory out there saying that there is an AU for each possibility, in one of those universes there has to be a Lucius with a heart. Nice piece! (Reply to this)
