Oh heeeeeeyyyyyy
It's Lyddia again, I finished my thesis this week (just got the bound copies back from the printers and I'm squeeing so hard right now!) so naturally, I brought in another character. >_>
Anyway, this is Jude. He's originally from Fool's March, but for the past four years he's been living in a communal house (ahem... essentially a frat house full of geeks) in Alnwick where he raises goats, grows pot (as well as hops, barley etc to make beer with) and sells it. You know, on the down-low. He's also a hopeless romantic but an utter failure at romance because he bounces between being entirely awkward or kind of a dick whenever he gets those romantic inclinations. Also, he doesn't know when to shut up, like 98% of the time. His mother is a hairdresser in Fool's March (she's really good) and as a teenager, he worked for her (answering phones and occasionally shampooing hair), so some people might remember him from that as well. You know, if they don't make purchases of the herbal variety.
I'm super pumped, y'all! Throw your characters at me! XD

I have a break now before I defend in a weekish. And really even then it's not much left but random teaching stuffs.
So scenes? plot? etc? Throw them at me. All my girls really need to get out more. I'll probs just start posting more opens later if nobody jumps in. But feel free to send stuff my way.

Hi everyone! I'm Nate and I'm new. I'm bringing in two characters to start.
On this journal, I've got Alex Snowden. He's 35, affiliated with the Rebels, and is an algebra teacher. He also owns a barn that used to belong to his parents before they retired so he spends a lot of time there when he's not teaching.

Okay, so it's pretty obvious that I completely suck, this is a thing I have realized. Alas, my job AND school suck too, so it's like. A trifecta of suck. (Lab reports, quizzes, tests, and presentations are aaaaaall descending upon me at an alarming rate. Not to mention my manager has taken "20-30 hours a week" to mean "I'd like to work 45 hours per week, please." Okay, now I'm just complaining, sorry, sorry.)
This is basically me, apologizing for disappearing without notice, and batting my eyelashes at you in the hopes that you'll forgive me.
Sadly this doesn't mean that I'm going to be more active in the next, oh, four weeks. BUT. What it does mean, is that I have an evening that I'm taking for myself tonight, so I'd LOVE to begin a thread with someone(s)! My schedule means that my replies will be slow-ish after today, but I'm really wanting to get Nikolai out there doing something.
Come May 13th or so I'll be much much more available but yeah. Until then I'm going to be painfully slow. :< Sorry my dears!

My name is Jay and I'm fresh meat around here. I bring with me this wonderfully sarcastic lady, Sarah Schaffer.
She's 25 years old and is currently living in Erela. However, she was born and raised in Ablos. Her father, Christian Schaffer, coaches sports and is relatively well-known for that while her mother is the definition trophy wife. She's the middle child, and kind of the odd one out. Her parents picked a favorite sibling, and she was left to her own devices.
By nature, Sarah's brash, quick to say what she thinks and sarcastic as all get out. She can come off as a bit aggressive, but that's what her life has turned her into. Particularly an asshole ex who was verbally and, towards the end, physically abusive toward her. She's a tough nut to crack, but once you have her for a friend, it's hard to lose her. Deep down she really just wants people to get her, but doesn't like to say that to people and show vulnerability.
In Erela she's a casino dealer, but she also participates in underground fighting. Yay aggression! And her ability is adoptive muscle memory. The rest of her info is over here, so please take a peek!

So I hate to do this again, but I'm probably still going to be slow around here for a few more days. My uncle passed away suddenly on Monday, so family stuff is kind of taking over my life for the moment. Basically just a heads up, I guess.

It's B again. I finally finished my second character. She was taking forever to come together and when she finally did well...she wasn't quite what I was expecting.
Eme's a tough girl with a sweet heart. Growing up on a farm in Dara she has twelve siblings. Her talent made her ideal for hunting and that's what she did until she got dragged by something she was hunting and broke her leg. She still got her prey though.
Eventually Eme decided to go to school for child care and psychology. While working for a service she got recommended as a nanny to Gideon Baddrick and she has been with him for a few years now in Asalea.
Plots anyone? Or any existing friends she would have? She is 24 and would have only traveled Dara, Erela, Hewe and Asalea. I'm of course open for a plot where she ends up somewhere strange.

I'm seconding Becca's post. I contacted the mods about this, but I live in the same area and the tornado damage here was awful, with clean up going until last week and then I just had so much Real Life stuff to catch up on. I'm going to catch up, but I've got

Hey everyone - I'm so sorry that I disappeared completely the last few weeks. The weather here has been horrible, including a lot of tornado damage in the town where I live, and when I haven't been working I've been helping with the clean up. Hey guys.
I just wanted to give an apology about my absence the past week or so. My parents had to put my cat down on St. Patrick's Day without me (I live 500 miles away from them, and couldn't get home in time), and it's been a really rough time for me. It sucked up a lot of my creative juices, so I've only really been able to do short journal posts.
I do want to try and get back into my creativeness, so I will probably be hitting some of you up for potential threads in the very VERY near future.
