SAXON AND RAIN.
WHO: Johnathan Hyde and Anna Arthur
WHAT: Grocery shopping!
WHERE: The grocery store!
WHEN: the afternoon, yesterday.
RATING: Probably PG
Nobody really liked to run errands. Right? It was just some horrid chore that needed to be done that no one ever actually wanted to take care of, but did anyway because once you reach a certain level of maturity, you feel the need to be responsible and irrational like that. Surely, as an adult, you shouldn't feel obligated to do things you don't want to do? That whole thing is supposed to end with childhood and adolescence. Right?
Apparently not. Oh well. It was decent thinking time. Or rather, blank-time. You didn't have to think about anything, really, did you? Just picking this up, going to do that, letting your mind run wonderfully blank and the subconscious taking over with the pedantic things like navigation and reading lists and the sparse interactions with people that running errands tends to have you do. That was probably the only saving grace of errands, as a whole.
Well, that, and you tended to wind up back at home with things like food, and things that worked better than when you left. That sort of thing. That was a good thing too, I guess.
Right now he was just sort of leaving himself nice and blank though; not thinking much about anything, aside from what he was looking at and whether or not it needed to go in his little basket.
