Hello,

Alex (me) is back from vacation. Meanwhile Lauren is going to be away for sometime. She's had a bit of an accident. I expect to see her around in a week or so, with any luck.

I've noticed a lag, recently. Hopefully, we can find the game a trio and more Death Eaters in order to begin major plotlines.

Hey guys!

So it's been pretty quiet around here. And I was wondering (mainly because of my own boredom and desires for something to procrastinate with) if all/anyone wanted to do a mini-plot until life eases up on the mods (you guys suck :P) a bit and we can get some major plots set in motion. I was thinking something along the lines of a spell or potion gone wrong? Like some foolish fifth year thought it would be funny to set off a spell affecting a wing of the school that anyone who came near inherited an opposite personality, or people switch bodies, for a day? Whatever you all think would be fun.

Suggestions, please?! If you/any of you want to, that is. Comment here or you can always poke me on aim at kattattackrawr

It would seem that one of our mods is MIA. She's had computer and internet issues lately, so I'm going to assume that's what's been going on. Unfortunately, the major plot boost can't be done until she returns (feel free to gasp here) so, we'll be waiting it out for a few more days. Then Lil has had some other issues, as well, so I'm assuming she's lost her internet, too.

It's that time again; midterms, spring break, etc. so though we are putting up advertisements twice a week, responses are slow, if any. As soon as we have more Slytherins and more soon-to-be Death Eaters, we'll begin plotting for initiations. As for the Order, as soon as we have an initiation, the Order will take up arms, as well. With that being said, please recruit. There are several comms out there for players recruiting players to their games. If you have characters you'd like to see, please advertise the game.

Finally, I (Alex) am on spring break, and will be disappearing this Sunday until Wednesday or Thursday. I'll be in Puerto Rico visiting family, and hunting for the Chupacabra. I should have internet at the hotel, however, and will check smmods e-mail or my email  if anyone has any questions.

By the time I get back, the visitors will be heading to London for their Ministry interview. All will be explained when either Lauren or I return.

Until then, don't spoil, cause another war, or start the apocalypse.

hey there, just an apology for not being on lately, I'm having partials so life taking me away...
And also I'm going on holidays for these next 2 weeks, so I'll rarely be on, though I'll try, I guess it's hiatus.

I'm heading down to D.C. tomorrow for the Cherry Blossom festival this weekend, so I won't be around for the next few days. I come back Sunday afternoon, but I've put off a 15-page paper due Monday so I'll be working all Sunday evening :( Just FYI.

If anyone DESPERATELY needs me, I can check my email from my phone, so that's probably the best way to reach me.

Hi, new player, Pixie, here!

I've just been accepted to play the one and the only James Tiberius Potter.

I'm just getting my head around the game, and learning my way all around everything, so hopefully I will be up and running with him as soon as possible. I will have his bio up before the night is out, but basically he is canon James.

I know I have been slow with both Bella and Susan lately. Life and its stressful ways have been ganging up on me and hopefully after I am able to shake this last bit off I should be up to 100% posting ablity. :D

So hi, I swear I haven't forgotten you guys I'm just really busy at the moment. In between College and Work I have like two days off (minus weekends) so I'm a bit behind on RP but I'll catch up soon enough! If you need me desperately poke me on AIM or email me or whatever.

Please friend sm_profs, our new professor journal. All professors will be NPCs and may be controlled by whomever needs to play them, at that time. Professors Dumbledore, McGonogall, Flitwick, and Madame Pince will be mod controlled for plot purposes. Still, if ever you would like to owl, or play with any of them, just let one of us know.

As for odd jobs, if your character is interested in holding a part-time job, in Hogwarts or in Hogsmeade, please respond below. We will compose a career list for all characters who are interested. Remember, your characters arrived with whatever they brought to Hogwarts for their reunion, so they should have money and clothes. Food is also taken care of, as are basic needs, so having a job is not necessary.

This is Evan Yves Robespiere Rosier, son of the same Rosier who attended school with Tom Riddle, and a friend of the Dark Lord's while growing up. Rosier ended up being one of the first followers of the Dark Lord, and his son is following in his footsteps. He is also the son of pureblood witch Marlena Robespierre (distant relative of Maximillien Robespierre. Bet you Muggles didn't know that about the French Revolution and the Reign of Terror). Evan Rosier comes from a long line of prejudiced, blood lusting, angry people who tend to rile up others wherever they go. He intends to do the same in his life. He is also cousin to Bellatrix, Andromeda, and Narcissa.

Whoops. This is me, being a little late on the bandwagon here!

I am Ginger, and I'm bring Benjy Fenwick to life about these parts. He's a seventh year Ravenclaw, and a Prefect. Canon has given him very little to work with, so he needs friends and enemies and acquaintances and... everything else! There's information on him in this journal as the first entry. Basically, he's just a generally nice guy that works hard to hide any flaws he might have. On another note, he quite firmly stands up for what he believes in and is clearly for the, uh, "good guys." He's also a halfblood, as his mother's a Muggle.

I'm around pretty often, on AIM at New Londons Fire. I can also be reached by PM. I'd love to plot, chat, etc! :-D

To jump start the game, the school will be celebrating to very special events, all at once. Tomorrow will be both the Grey Lady's and the Bloody Baron's Death Day parties! In order to celebrate this occasion, there will be a school-wide celebration. A ball will be hosted by the staff, inviting the 'visiting' students and recent alumnus to join in. There will be dancing, food (edible food, as well!), and general carrying on. The thread will be posted today, it will officially be Saturday in the thread.

As a side note, all students have been transported to Hogwarts with all the belongings they brought with them to Hogwarts back in 2000 (luggage, clothes, wand, etc). Read the FAQ page before playing! Also, double check if your characters are on all the lists. If not, please comment below

I think I'm a little bit late on this, but better late than never, right?! Which is to say, hello! My name is Cate and I have two characters here. The first is Sirius Black (obviously, :]). Sirius is- well- Sirius. He's loud, obnoxious, and quite fond of speaking his mind. He likes having fun, pulling pranks, breaking rules, and falling asleep in class. Not to mention, he quite enjoys getting under people's skin. Like I said, obnoxious. As canon dictates!, he was disowned this past summer and as such he now lives with the Potters which is brilliant in his opinion. :]

The second is Lisa Turpin (coldintellignce) who is, essentially, the complete opposite of Sirius. She's nice, of course, but she's terribly pragmatic. She bases everything off fact- logic, reason- it's how she operates. It can be rather extreme, but it's sort of a condition she fell into after the second war. Lisa's a muggle-born sooo it wasn't a happy time for her. She isn't impossible, though she does look down at people who place their faith in illogical things. She's always willing to help, though but she gets frustrated easily. She's very Lisa!

He loves her in a way but isn't in love with her otherwise he is much like canon (and the app- I need to update it to reflect a couple of changes in that regard but otherwise its up to date).

For those I haven't met yet, I'm Lil. This game, I've got Alice Carine (one day to be Longbottom) from 1978 and Jeremy Stretton from 2000. Both of them are totally up for plotting!

Some basics:
Alice left Hogwarts a few years ago (class of '75) and went into the auror program with her sweetheart, Frank. She's still around Hogwarts sometimes, though, because she's not only in the Order, but also has younger siblings still in school.

Jeremy just started his first apprenticeship (class of '98). He basically missed out on the war (sent abroad), and has managed to retain a pretty optimistic outlook on life. He's brilliant with dates and languages and that sort of minituae.
