I am terrible at introductions which explains the lack of one on my part until now. Hello. I'm Julian Grisham and no I'm not related to the author with the same last name. We're both lawyers but he's a hell of a lot richer than I am. Not to mention the fact that I can't write.
I don't know what to say without making this sound like either a personal ad or a speech at AA so I'll keep it simple. I've lived here for several years and I have an eight and a half year old daughter named Mallory who is the most beautiful girl in the world. Sorry, Camryn but she'll always be number one in my book. ;) |

Pacing, Marrie carried her cat, Fiona, around in her arms, trying to not hyperventilate. She’d found the cat upon first moving to Sea Island, and the grey ball of fluff had been with her through a very trying two years, a constant companion and source of comfort. And now, she was dying, and Marrie didn’t know if she could handle it. Deciding that Robert was taking entirely too long - even though he wasn’t late yet - Marrie grabbed her purse and slung it over her shoulder, taking her pacing and her cat out to the balcony to watch for him. Which, would have been more productive if she knew what kind of car he drove. |

I suppose I should do this. I've just moved here after a very taxing year. I bought myself a nice little condo on the beach and I'm hoping that I can live my life in peace without the tabloids finding me and continuing their little smear campaign.
Name's Robert Stone. My closest friends call me Bobby or they did until I told the whole lot of them that they could take a long walk off the shortest pier they could find and then kindly drown. Yes, I am that actor and former teen heartthrob (I still shudder at that word) who's name was dragged through the mud in the last year because his own mother and ex fiancé are fucking c***s. The only truths that were told is that Caroline Fletcher is my mother (by name only I assure you) and Shannon Gracen was my fiancé. The rest of it? Bollocks! Utter rubbish is what it was. I've never beaten a girl nor do I intend to. I always freely gave of what I have even when certain people never believed it to be enough and I definitely did NOT punch that guy's lights out though in my opinion the wanker deserved it. Oh and, I'm not gay. I love women, so kindly disregard that little rumour that was started because I wouldn't bend over and let the two women I loved most screw me six ways to Sunday.

After a long day at work, firing her assistant and dealing with her boyfriend's admission that he'd cheated on her Camryn was ready for this day to be over. She had plans with the girls in just a while, but she'd promised Brian she'd stop by and help him unpack. She knew very well she was going to end up just sitting on the couch and drinking the bottle of wine she brought with her, but it would be good to spend time with her old friend outside of the work environment.
She pulled up to his condo and parked her little black car then stepped out and strutted to the front of his door. "Put your pants on and hide the girl you're shagging, I'm here!" She announced as she knocked hard on the door. |

For those of you I don't know, I'm Marrie Jenkins, and I used to live here about a year ago, but I took off to New York to try my hand at Broadway. Did pretty well, but now I'm back to open my acting school, which has been the plan the whole time.
