Thor still missed her. She was the person he just couldn't ever get out of his head. His time stuck in the palace with his father had been so hard for him. He had buried himself in his work to keep from dwelling on the sadness filling his heart. He had been out on another one of those missions. Or at least that was the last thing he remembered when he found himself waking up in a strange place. He slowly opened his eyes and stretched his neck. After taking those few moments to come to he made his way to his feet. He had been to many dimensions in his life, so the fact that this one wasn't one he recognized worried him most of all. Without the link to his homeland how was he supposed to get home? Also who was powerful enough to kidnap an Asgardian? They had been worshiped as gods for a reason, so whomever was behind this had to be powerful. The first thought that popped in his head was Loki. But Loki was dead, wasn't he? He found himself doubting that now, and that scared him too. He had thought he had ended things with Loki on good terms, so if Loki was behind this then he was clearly mistaken. For now though he pushed those thoughts aside. He didn't have the luxury of falling a part right now. He had to find out where he was and find a way home. So, he started looking around, but his new found determination didn't last long. He walked for a few feet along the beach and he spotted someone else he had lost. There stood Rebekah....at least he thought it was what he was seeing. It was such a shock to him he thought that he was hallucinating at first. For the longest time he just stood there staring at her. When he finally shook himself out of the shock he made his way over to her. "Rebekah..." he said, his tone soft and unsure. "Is it really you?" he asked. |
