Say 'Hello' to your new Elysium. Abandoned in the 1980's, this stone cathedral with its original stained glass has been repurposed for our use. Januarius Cathedral is located in Midtown Manhattan and offers an utterly extensive repertoire of music from DJ to live performances on Friday and Saturday with a space for dancing and mingling in the amber-lit dark, dazzled by the crystal chandeliers. We also have a small gallery section for up-and-coming artists. The main level will be open to kine and Kindred alike with an extremely well-stocked bar. For us, you have the catacombs below - be kind to the original residents. An out-of-the-way staircase takes you down below where a blood bar resides, along with lovely blood dolls willing and waiting. There is also a hidden entrance for our more... Noticeable friends.

	I do not think they are interested in him at this point in time but until we know what happened at BV, I understand. Exactly where I never wanted to be. I left the chessboard for a reason. I know, Ash. But this is less about politics and more about someone who you actually might enjoy the company of and teach some things we can't along the way.

He just happens to be the most uncomfortably politically connected young Kindred in the city. Through no real fault of his own. If anyone can understand his position, it's you.

I can't even imagine how difficult all of this is for you. But I also know you are the only one who can do the job properly. You can be cross at me for believing it all you like. But it's true.

He's been told. By both of us. I think he understands. It's more than just the political nightmare he'd in. He's barely had a chance to do anything in his life and between our enemies and expectations, he doesn't have much of a chance to sort himself.

I was absolutely wretched living in the country, not because of the scenery. Besides, if I try to take him, the Warlocks will come for both of us. This shared custody deal with Amadeus is as good as it gets.

I'm not expecting it to get better. I am trying to make the best of it. Besides, you know me. When have I ever been interested in anyone boring? He's very sweet. Which I know, might as well be a death sentence for one of our kind, but it's compelling as well. The fallen angel, as it were.

	You could, of course, ask Amadeus if there is a way to spirit him away without anyone else knowing. There is interesting and then there is suicide. He will break - one day. You will not know when. It always happens with the sweet ones. They die or they break. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

	That is an idea. Let's hope it doesn't come to that. The arrangement is certainly better for him than the Chantry would be. We all break. I was never sweet and I broke. I broke for twenty miserable years before my childe came by to kick me in the arse. You either lose your soul or you break. I'd rather the latter. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

I was sweet when I broke. At least, I think I was. It was a long time ago. Before that, I was living in a fantasy world and I wish I had broken younger so I could have tasted freedom sooner. In this climate... Break him. Break him fast and then build him back up stronger.

	Yes, I try to avoid as much of the Tremere business as possible. It's bets for everyone involved. Considering everything he's been through in the last few months, I'm not certain he hasn't already broken and come back. He's certainly more resilient than I was that young. (Reply to this) (Parent)
