Now it's stuck in my head :P
Meanwhile, Jo had gone around to all the victims' places and spoken to the witnesses who'd been present at the attacks in her attempt to figure out what was going on. She finally discovered what kind of sea monster it was, thanks to a random occult store she'd found on the island that had a book based on local mythology. Armed with a spear gun loaded with an iron poker - as usual, one of the few metals that would kill something supernatural - she rented a boat and headed out for the infested waters herself as the sun began to sink.
The attacks had happened at various times of the day and night, and the only reason Jo suspected the creature would show itself tonight was that the latest victim had been a kid, and thus not a very large meal. As she reached the area, the blond frowned when she noticed another boat out on the water, and she steered her own towards it, hoping she wasn't too late.
