She laughed brightly as she spun, made of shadow at the moment, her hair bouncing as she moved, some of it moving with the momentum of her spin, some of it moving against, twining around itself like Medusa's mane. Finally she slipped from her perch, catching herself against the lower edge of the hoop with her arms, easily turning the spin into a wider circle, toes barely touching the ground, running across the open air for a moment, the movements smooth even despite her lack of practice.
She let the momentum carry her full circle before jackknifing her legs up, folding herself in half, hooking her feet against the top of the hoop and letting her arms go, taking a moment to brace herself again before sliding down to hang by her knees where she'd been hanging by her arms before, arms performing a graceful pinwheel, just as steady as the kicking of her legs had been before, she was very much in her element at the moment.
She was spinning, arms wide, braced against the hoop she was perched in, keeping it moving with subtle, short little movements of her hips and torso. She wasn't up to speed yet, it had been ages since she'd had a chance to practice, but she'd found that she'd missed it, and had found someone to help her set up a tumbler's practice area in one corner of the training room, including the suspended hoop.
