Clark and Cops and Commissioner Gordon
mullon requested some Gordon and Non-Bat Superhero interactions.

From The Brave and the Bold #16 by Mark Waid and Scott Kolins. It's a Superman/Catwoman team-up and it's available in Brave and the Bold:Demons and Dragons HC (2009).

	I don't know, she's got parts of Angua's personality down kind of well. Except the cynicism though. Her family are powerful and partially superpowered lunatics though, so it balances out. (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Yeah, but she's Lois Lane. She could be. And given the Silver Age, she probably *was*, at one point.

It's such a shame that "Demons and Dragons" is the only 'Brave and Bold' collection not currently TPBed. The rest were put out in paperback, but only *after* DC printed those ridiculously expensive hardcover editions (which I refuse to shell out for). And that's a shame, since I've been really enjoying the 'Brave and Bold' stuff so far.

	Besides which, aside from his red hair, Captain Carrot Ironfounderson is also called "carrot" because of his shape (wide at the top, tapering as you go down his body), which has been the norm for Superman for decades. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	"Jim Gordon: Metropolis Police Commissioner" might be an interesting event. Batman gets all sad because his friend is gone, Superman abolishes most of the crime on his own, and Gordon just chills out in his office, shopping on eBay. (Reply to this)

Well, OK, it wasn't exactly a fanfic, per se, more like an extended exchange that included fanficcy stuff. Back when this comic was last posted, I made a comment that went something like 'anyone else want to see these two as roommates now?' faile_neume went 'YEAH!', and I responded with a quick little vignette where Supes and Selina were living together. Well, she responded with 'ooh, how about this', and I kept putting together little scenarios, and before we knew it, the whole thing had morphed into what was basically an elaborate 'I Love Lucy'-style set-up where Clark and Selina were married and had Kon as their 'son' in white-picket-fence suburbia, and they lived next door to Green Arrow and his family, and it just got more complex from there. It eventually kinda petered out, as these things do, but it was pretty awesome for a while there. I'm not sure whether anyone else read it at the time, as the exchange was pretty much just between the two of us, but the thread's still there if you want to look at it. (Also, faile_neume said she'd post it on her Live_Journal.)
