Poor Zee. I wouldn't be surprised if this unlucky in love thing is carried on in the on-going Dini is writing. He probably couldn't get away with as much as he did in the "Everyday Magic" one-shot (which I've got and is a very fun read especially since Constantine comes out looking like a douche) but then maybe not. The scene of Hawkgirl dreaming of having sex with Hawkman in the sky in JLA was more explicit than anything in the one-shot.

One of the problems I had with Zee giving way to Selina in Heart of Hush can be exhibited in the panels in this post. This is a girl who knows what she wants and is not shy about her sexuality. If she wanted Bruce (as she said she did) she would not just clear the decks for Selina to let her have him (especially since they both acknowledged he was seeing Jezebel Jet at the same time).
