Seriously Clark, out of the chair

Also, I'm Batman.

And then Robin interrupt their 'personal' time.

Yes, Bats, take Robin out before Clark actually answers that question. Really Bruce just because you forgot you had a date doesn't mean you can pretend Clark isn't there.

Damnit Clark. You ruined a perfectly good evening by sitting the stupid chair. I hope you're happy.

This is the reason that Bruce henceforth fumigated his chair with an aerosolized Green K. (Also, "Fringe" just referenced the "X-Files")

And the universe didn't explode? I can honestly say I'm shocked.

Ohh, And here I was beginning to think I was the only one who'd noticed that, (Despite the fact that they tipped their hand with the earlier scene of Mulder on the television set..) but I liked the subtle way they did it in that hearing, talking about things that had happened in previous decades and making that remark about the trouble a previous 'X Division' had been..

Very Cool!

From Batman Gotham Adventures #36

Check out the run, it's full of good clean fun.

Like Batman patrolling the streets of Gotham with a baby. Then in said issue, criminals chastise how Bat's is carrying the baby. That all happened in #26 in case you're interested.

For a second, I thought Superman was just floating in place as though there were a chair there. I mean, he could.

Superman = chair
Batman - "That's my chair."

And then a mental image of Batman sitting, working at the batcomputer while in Superman's lap.

Why yes, I do have a cold and am out of it, why do you ask?

I THOUGHT THIS TOO. I had to triple-take before figuring it out. And I don't have any excuses (other than the obvious slowness).

Supes.... move your ass if you know what is good for you....

MOVE!

NOW FOR GOD-SAKES.

I do so love Clark holding his hands as he answers Robin. I take that pose when my niece keeps asking "why?" So sweet without being condescending.

I...I could go somewhere about what he's covering up instead of just holding hands but really I don't really want to go there this late. Any takers?

Kinda makes me sad Clark never got to hang out with Steph properly. 'Course, she's alive again, so there's always the possibility of a Superman/Steph!Batgirl team-up. And another Superboy/Batgirl team-up while we're at it. Really, they just need to do every combination of Super and Bat. They're two great tastes that taste great together!

The Superman/Batman trope does tend to get overplayed, but it does becomes more fun if the whole family's involved!

And this would be the reason not to see the new Star Trek movie as many times as I did.

Seriously, my mind went to an awesome Trek-AU place for like a minute.

Superman is so pouty in the last panel.
