Not how I see it. I believe that this generation is actually bigger on the 'big', they want explosions, shock waves the size of what happened in Hiroshima with every punch, they want more of the 'unstoppable force meets an immovable object' sort of thing. You could say some audience actually desire the big,long battles. While in real life fights, one would want to end fights quickly because it hurts and the more time you spend standing the more likely your opponent is going to bring you down.
