Remember how the costume was blacked out before, and Batgirl was just a silhouette kicking people?

It's...got stripes? It's an interesting touch, and not at all what I would've expected. I'm kind of disappointed it's not purple all over (which would've made it similar to both the Batgirl costume from the 60s Batman show, as well as the Batgirl costume from The Batman cartoon). Ah well.

She's got the utility belt on her leg, though.

	Huntress better look out. Spoiler's looking like she might just take away the "shortest Batgirl tenure" title. That costume is hideous. (Reply to this)

	Noto drew it differently. The ribbing is supposed to end right where her leg pouches are. It looks goofy going all the way down into her boots. :/ I also prefer the yellow to be less mustard yellow. =_= otherwise, it's not a bad costume. (Reply to this)

The pic won't load for me here, but I saw by visiting the websites...

The blue/purple pic coloring looks awful. Wrong shade of purple. And emphasizing the silly side padding just encourages all the 'sooper hero comics should look realistic!' people.

The twitter shot? Gorgeous! A definite callback to the first, real Batgirl, who had the best looking costume ever. It actually makes me feel better about the decision to leave Babs crippled (which doesn't make me feel empowered, sorry, just feels like a variant of fridging--because assault gives wimmen character! /sarcasm).

Still ambivalent over Spoiler, who had her own identity, losing that. The purple is a nice reminder.

I feel for the people who miss Cass..I own the early CassBatgirl trades and she was cute and fun..but that certainly isn't the way she's been portrayed lately. Honestly, without her speech impediment I don't find her as interesting. It reminds of what people say would be taken away if Daredevil were given his sight back. (...I wonder if Cass could become Spoiler now?)

However, this is the closest I'm going to get to Babs as Batgirl, so I'm going to start reading. :)

	Not too fond of the lines and the POUCHES but I kind of like it. I still like Cass' outfit better it seems more practical and it puts an element of fear rather than sexy or cute which is something rarely found on super heroine outfits these days. I just hope Steph gets to be in this role for awhile and not suffer the same fate she did when she was Robin. (Reply to this)
