Actually, what bothers me even more is that most of these writers' ideas of what constitutes "genius" fall squarely into the Isaac Asimov psychohistory mold, which diminishes free will to a degree that I find irreconcilable with all but the most fatalistic of superhero comics (Adrian Veidt so totally wanted to be Hari Seldon). I mean, fuck, man, it's like none of these people have ever heard of CHAOS THEORY.
