I remember this was posted in the original Scans Daily. Though it was lost due to photobucket account issues if I recall right. A good thing I have the issues myself (finally found #1 and #2) this past summer. So now I'm bringing this puppy back given how awesome this crossover was. Honestly this comic just feels like a frigging movie the entire time I read it. The comics where huge at the time over forty pages. So I think this is the required amount. If not mods warn me and I'll remove it to the proper limit.
The story opens with a boxing match. All of Gotham's Elite are there (both regular and criminal elite). On the other end of town though someone else is listening in:
Predator then take's out the winner of the match in awesome style, though of course spares the woman he was with at the time (but kills the two guards who where watching him). Naturally the brutal triple murder attracts the attention of Gotham's great defender.
Bats then goes to interogate the other opponent of the match, Brodin, given he was the only one who most to gain from this. A fight erupts with Brodin's boxing friends and Batman who hands them their butts. After warning Brodin that he might be next, the Bat leaves. Naturally the Predator show's up and slaughters mostly everyone save but one off screen in hand to hand style.
When word hits Batman he travels back to the scene of the crime:
With this litteral puzzle in his face, Bruce tries to put the pieces together on with the unsual circumstances of death. He come's to the conclusion the killer has a bizarre code of honor. Using the only clue he got from above, Bruce realizes the killer is at a junk yard and possibly might show at a meeting being a crime lord and the boxing promoter. So he sends Alfred to investigate the former and watches over the meeting.
It pays off.
Alas to say though Bats couldn't save most of everyone in the room, and as shown above before he can confront the killer he's removed from the field by the shotgun blast and escapes via that exit above.
Still, Bruce gets the location where the killer's lair is at via Alfred and decides to pay this slasher a visit.
Though tagged by the disk the Predator threw, Batman tries luring it to get buried in a ton of junk. The plan just really doesn't work out really well for him sad to say.
