Grant Morrison stated that Scott's adultery wasn't really cheating because of Jean's coldness, suggesting (in my reading) that there was nothing else for him to do but cheat. Sailorlibra pointed out that it is still cheating, and that other things could have been done. Please note that whether or not it would be in Scott's character to do these other things is another point entirely. When I said "This. That shit was so weak," I meant I agreed that it was cheating, that other things could have been done (please note the "could," don't try and argue that's it's fiction because I'm not saying it's bad writing or anything along those lines that he did not do these things, merely that I disagree that cheating is the only thing he could have potentially done), and that I disagreed with Morrison's statement.
