Yes, exactly. And as a bonus, because they met when Babs was already Oracle, it is more likely to prevent writers from going with the "I didn't used to be in a wheelchair, and now I am, therefore our relationship is doomed" brand of angst that coloured Babs/Dick at times.
Someone like Gage, on the other hand, is about as plausible a prospect as Vesper Fairchild was for Bruce.
Well, I for one look forward to reading Barbara Gordon: Murder? and Barbara Gordon: Fugitive Vols 1-3.
