It's kind of hilarious, because most of his JSA run came before his Avengers run, but I was reading the two at the same time, and the Avengers run, IMO, had so much less of this "stray plot bits that go nowhere" stuff. So my brain was like "WTF, man? Do you just have, like, a brain that keeps everything coherent and a brain that doesn't and switch them out between your head and a jar whenever you get tired of one or the other?"
