U.S War Machine 2.NO: Shakespeare is SRS BUSINESS
okay, US War Machine had some good points.

the sequel? not so much, really.

i mean, without the halfway interesting hook of an insurgence on Latverian soil, it kinda needed to do " special ops team with power suits " good, and... well, it didn't fail, it just came in well below the mark.

oh, and the ar... the visual half of the medium went to... somewhere. Anyhow, I just wanted to show you some narm. It's good narm. Quality. From Tony Stark.

Only two scans this time, so I don't hate you all nearly as much anymore.

so, Tony's training his own legion of powersuit wearers to go after James Rhodes, who's operating without his sanction and with his tech. He's also kinda drunk, and kinda brutal. The result?

yeah, that's Happy Hogan.

also, the visuals are... very visual.

and who knew Tony was so passionate about old plays?

Or that he had his own idea of what characters would say? He truly is a multi-faceted man.

so yeah.

so... yeah.

Oh my god, THIS. Figurines + photoshop.

Seriously, I 100% thought it was posed figures until I read the blurbs and such.

Without looking at the text, I assumed that it was from Twisted Toyfare (or what ever that's called).

It's like Halo machinima. Only without voices. Or motion.

So not like machinima at all really.

Okay, so this IS a joke, right?

Either way I'm just boggled that they managed to make the art so much worse than the already-crappy art from last time.

Hmm, it looks more to me like his feet are on the ground, but his shadow has detached itself from him. *gasp* Tony Stark is secretly Peter Pan!

Digital Justice has the advantage that it IS 19 years old now, and was supposed to be showing a digital, somewhat weird looking future world. This is supposed to be present day mainstream MU isn't it?

I heard that! So I went back and reread MM to find his stuff. I wouldn't call his art incompetent, just not good. Wonder why he changed his name..please don't tell me its a combo of Chuck Norris and Steve Austin.

[info]jlroberson

Because of some shit having to do with hating his dad, as I recall.

I'm glad you can tolerate his art back then. But given the other 5 artists who worked on this, it's like I'm eating a delicious roast beef sandwich and then taste a nugget of turd. He suffers badly in that company. I mean, Leach, Davis, Ridgway, Veitch, Totleben--and in the middle, THIS? Ick.

Worse, he came in at a moment of climax and in plot terms, it's a major cockblocking. Imagine how Davis woulda done it. sigh.

I like that they managed to work in the "injured guy with blood trickling out the corner of his mouth" bit on a person wearing a full-face helmet. He must really be bleeding.

Drunk Tony Stark would totally go back in time in Doom's time machine and rip Shakespeare's stupid little goatee right off his face except that Doom has invented cell phone technology that completely blocks drunk-dialers. Stupid Victor!
