Then you seriously need to reevaluate your positive opinion of Boortz.
Truly, Atlas Shrugged is like all the worst traits of fan fiction, except imposed on political, philosophical, and economic discourse. When I talk about John Galt's 70-page speech in the novel, I'm not employing hyperbole for comic effect - I mean Ayn Rand was such a flamingly self-indulgent Suethor of an author that she derailed her own goddamn story to devote FUCKING 70 MOTHERFUCKING PAGES to Galt's speech - uninterrupted by any other characters, or any scene or character descriptions - and moreover, THIS IS HOW ALL OF HER CHARACTERS ARE, because they're not actually PEOPLE - instead, they're either strawmen who exist to be destroyed in the name of Objectivism, or author mouthpieces who exist to tell everyone how great Objectivism is. Even if you divorce the story completely from its philosophy, I consider it PURE EVIL, simply for its crimes against the act of STORYTELLING ITSELF.
