Really, except for the violence (and even then), they don't have much in common. Jason's convinced Bruce didn't love him, Tim is pushing away everyone who cares for him. Jason wants to be Batman, Tim really doesn't want to. Jason sticks close to Gotham/the family, Tim's going away. Jason was Red Robin because Bruce gave him the costume, Tim was Red Robin because it supposedly had no link with either Bruce or Dick. Also Tim sees Jason as the id boy, and that's a bad thing for control freak Tim; he's not entirely right, Jason's much better at planning and information gathering than he's Flanderized as.
You could make a case for Tim being headed toward Titans Tomorrow!Tim, but I'm trying not to think about it.
