This isn't really my kind of art but as examples of phoned-in X-duggery go, this is good. I especially like the almost-perfect-but-a-little-too-low-on-the-tip glow on the nose. This is the work of consumate professionals who have done this a zillion times before and don't really care much about it any more. I enjoy this sort of work because you can see all the technique without messy inspiration getting in the way.
So, as to character choices, are we essentially saying that the last twenty years of NM history didn't happen? Because I'm down with that.
