Making a post I'm wanting to do on Perez's Silver Swan tricky. I didn't quite realize how much Perez packed into each issue until now.
Ordinarily I'd advise you to go a few pages over the limit and not stress, since all this stuff is out of print anyway, but hey, the Swan story is actually in trade. Sad for us, but good on DC for once. Yeah, that's one of the things I miss about Perez, and that whole still-coming-off-the-Bronze-Age era - they didn't hold with all this "decompression" nonsense. Takes me four or five times as long to read a Perez issue as a modern JLA. (But then, maybe that's another reason I like Diana - she's always attracted that sort of author. Byrne, Jimenez and Gail all pack a fair amount into every issue relative to the era they're writing in as well.)
