Excellent point. Most of the people who will be reading this because of the JLA title (and even more when it comes out in trade paperback or hardcover) will have no idea of who Lady Blackhawk is and will not realize how totally UNLIKELY is that someone from the WWII generation who has never shown any predilection for the opposite sex will have a threesome with one of her closest female friends (a once-again mass attending Italian Catholic who has resolved to reform her sex life last we checked) and some space cowboy (who is involved in a committed relationship in his own book). And Dinah Lance of all people would blab about such a thing? Heck no!
Unfortunately I fear this is how future writers who can't be bothered to do the research will see the characters. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Huntress or Zinda guest-starring in other books just to capitalize on their "easy" status by writers who don't know better. That's exactly what happened in Outsiders with Huntress and Roy. The assumption at the time was that since she has been involved in a one-night stand with Nightwing, she would have no problems with Arsenal as well. And that was played off a sex joke between males in that book as well.
