I didn't care about either of the reboot Legions myself. The kids legion never did anything for me(but it was meant for teenagers, not me, and too many mullets, which is to say any), and I found the 3boot version annoying, an example of the not-as-hip-as-he-thinks Waid updating them in a way that he thought kids liked. Reading it reminded me of Superman-meets-hippies stories: it's the kind of updating that instantly dates, like the Supermullet. Shooter coming back didn't help.(and the whole teens-versus-adults thing--I thought it was stupid, and how long can you keep that up?) Although the matter of Tinya Wazzo's peculiar relationship problems was interesting.
The thing is, the original Legion doesn't seem to date as much as the other two. And I was happy to see them back.
