I'm not going to delete this post, but as I said, there are far better places to post fanfic such as marvel_fic or marvel_slash on LJ, and I strongly encourage your to post your fic there instead. I'm willing to bet that those members of scans_daily who would be likely be your audience for that fic here are probably members of one or both of those other communities. It's perfectly acceptable to, say, post some scans from an X-Men comic and include a link to your fic within the post, but focus of all posts is supposed to be sharing/discussing comics.
But I do enjoy writing, and I thought someone might enjoy reading comics stories that exist no where else. I suppose I shouldn't continue the story then, and keep any others to myself?
I love that creativity and writing sometimes finds inspiration here, and I'm not discouraging you from writing or posting your stories.
Again, it's a matter of appropriate venues: people don't come here to read fanfiction or text-only stories because this community focuses on the medium of comics. If you were to post your fic at a community whose focus is fanfiction, you are far more likely to get feedback as fanfic is what members there are looking for and expecting.
